Community Midwives

The Community Midwifes and Doctors provide a shared care system for Ante-natal and Post-natal Care, both for mother and baby at the Surgery and at home. Our Community Midwife is based at Luton & Dunstable Hospital and can be contacted via the switchboard on 08451270127. The Midwife led Ante-natal Clinic runs every Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon at the Surgery. The Doctors Ante-natal Clinics run every Wednesday morning.

Community Nurses

The District Nurses provide nursing care for patients who are housebound. Examples of their work include chronic wound or stoma dressings and follow up care for recently discharged hospital inpatients. They can be contacted on 01582 708241.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors are Registered General Nurses or Midwives who have undergone further training to provide health education and preventative care, in particular for children under 5. We have two Health Visitors attached to the Practice, who are based in the Health Centre across the road. They can be contacted on 01582 708300. They also run a variety of drop in clinics at the Health Centre.
